Bethany

So I have been in the radio biz for about a year now and I love it! Since I am a life long resident of Keene, being on KNE is extra special since it is the station I grew up listening to. I always thought being a dj at a radio station would be a really fun job and I was definitely right!

I feel very lucky to have a job that I love so much. I was once told that "the job you choose should be the one you would do even if you weren't getting paid". Hey wait....I did that for a few months. That saying must be true!

So here's a little bit of info about me...

Favorite Restaurant..............It's a tie - La Caretta and The Swanzey Diner (the best breakfast ever!)
Favorite Food..........................Pecan pie. I can't have it around the house or I will eat the entire thing!
Favorite Movie.......................Meet the Parents
Favorite Show...................... King of Queens - even though it's not on still, it lives on in reruns . Yeah!
Favorite Group/Artist.......Matchbox 20/Maroon 5 - I can't choose
Favorite Comedian...............Dane Cook
Favorite Place to Shop....TJ Maxx - It's all about finding a diamond in the rough
Favorite Game......................Probably Taboo but I will play any game - I am really competitive
Pet Peeve..............................Hearing people eat.I know, it's weird but the chomping, slurping and gulping..yuck!
Biggest Fear......................Birds. Scared to death from a tiny hummingbird all the way to an Emu. TERRIFIED!

That's more than enough for now...I love when you call in to make requests, especially for the 80's Retro Lunch. If you want to make a request or whatever...pop me an email at bethany@wkne.com.

80's Clip of the Week

I can remember trying to stay up late to watch Saturday Night Live in the 80's, even if I wasn't supposed to. One of my favs, it's classic Eddie Murphy...Here's James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub Party! Gonna get in the wata!

 I am a self-professed shop-a-holic! But I am also a bargain shopper.

I love to shop for clothes, make-up, things for my house etc..I love discovering great products, but I hate to spend more than $25 on anything! Here are some of my favorite things right now.

Skin Drench
Instant Tanning Spray
Imju Fiberwig Mascara Mr. Clean Magic Erasers
A safe golden tan without the
negative effects of the sun!
Not all of us are blessed with
long eyelashes. It is like paint on
false eyelashes that turn even the
shortest of lashes into big doe eyes!
Love these! They clean walls,
sneakers, counters and more! If
you have kids...you need these!
